True Passion for Technology
Developing a passion for computer programming in college was just the beginning. Graduating right before 9/11 was a devastating blow to the IT student fresh out of college, so I tried sales and although I excelled at it, something was missing. I continued to dabble in it until finally I was given an open door into the world of technology and I have been striding on the other side of that door since I entered it in 2005. I have been privileged to complete over 600 websites in the 9+ years that I have been in this field.
So you may be wondering, "Why kickball?!" Well, there is nothing like being able to be a big kid one day of most weeks out of the year. Yes, I am on the Throwbacks team and we play in the Cedar Hill, TX league. I play first base and there are plenty of laughs and good times. I also enjoy running and I have completed 2 half-marathons and a few 5K runs, to date and looking to add to that total before the year ends.
I believe that life is short, so you should make the most of it while you have a chance. That being said, I chose to grow in the web development world because I love it. I make it a point not to attach myself to anything I do not believe in and my career is no exception to that rule.
Things may not happen when you want them to, but they happen when they are supposed to.
